IDS AirNav was awarded a contract with Maldives Airport Company (MACL) thus added to customer’s portfolio. The contract worth approximately $500,000 and foreseen to provide for the supply, installation, and operational management of the Aviation Message Management System (AMHS) at Velana International Airport in Malé. It is the main airport of the Maldivian archipelago over which 4.3 million passengers and 64 thousand flights annually transit. It has a “Seaplane” terminal in addition to terminals for international and local flights. The AMHS is the next-generation technology platform for the sharing of aeronautical information among all stakeholders involved in flight operations: air navigation service providers, airport operators, army, and meteorological information providers. Maldives Airports Company thereby has been added to the client’s portfolio, 130 worldwide, to whom ENAV Group provides its know-how and technologies, which range from the supply and installation of technology platforms as well as consultancy and training in aviation.
IDS AirNav, part of the ENAV Group, has the pleasure to present the twentieth edition of the Aeronautical Special Interest Group (AeroSIG) that will be held in Rome, on 11 and 12 October.
This year the event will be based on “face to face” meetings, with a remote connection available, and participation of colleagues from more than 35 different countries.
The Event plenary session will take place on 11 October focusing on IDS AirNav new commercial offer and the future evolution of its provided solutions and services.
Breakout sessions will be held on 12 October and, at the choice of the interested guests, will deepen the topics addressed during the first day of the Plenary Session or deepen on specific products evolution.
Every speaker, from different countries and from IDS AirNav, will illustrate various activities, products and latest developments related to the technological projects which led IDS AirNav to achieve its leading position in the third market of both AIM and ATM sectors.

The world event, the most important in the Air Traffic Management sector and with a strong appeal to the drone sector (UTM), was held from 21 to 23 June 2022 at the IFEMA Feria de Madrid and hosted the major Air Navigation Service Providers and the most prestigious industries and organizations linked to the world of air transport: over 200 exhibiting companies, more than 110 Countries and 6000 international visitors involved.

The activity in the non-regulated business continues through the subsidiaries IDS AirNav and Techno Sky
ENAV Group continues to expand its presence in the non-regulated market, exporting its products and know-how related to the air traffic management. The ENAV Group, through the companies IDS AirNav and Techno Sky, signed two contracts, for a total of approximately 2.2 million euros. IDS AirNav – global leader in aeronautical information management systems – has signed an agreement with ADAC (Abu Dhabi Airports Company), the Abu Dhabi airport management company, for the supply, installation, testing and the commissioning of the Aeronautical Information Exchange Model (AIXM) system. AIXM is the latest generation technological platform that enables the digital transformation of the entire aeronautical information flow. AIXM will allow ADAC to make aeronautical information management more efficient by significantly improving the system’s capabilities. Techno Sky – responsible for the management and maintenance of the entire range of hardware/software platforms and systems utilized to deliver air navigation services – has recently signed a contract with the Aeronautica Militare (Italian Air Force) for the supply and installation of an Instrument Landing System (ILS) for the Istrana military airport (Treviso). The ILS is an electronic ground system that guides aircraft in the final phase of an instrument approach to the runway. It is essential to ensure precision landings even in low visibility conditions. Techno Sky will take care of the complete installation of the new equipment. The ENAV Group operates in approximately 100 countries around the world and has a fully integrated commercial offer: form supply and installation of technological platforms to consultancy and training in the aeronautical sector.

IDS AirNav signed a contract with Airservices Australia (ASA), the Australian service provider for air navigation services. The contract foresees the modernization of the Aeronautical Information Management (AIM). The Company will provide the advanced modules of the AIM system related to the electronic aeronautical publication (IDS AirNav WePub system) and the Integrated Aeronautical Charting based on GIS Technology (IDS AirNav ICE system). This new contract, which has a total duration of 30 months, will allow Airservices Australia to significantly increase the efficiency of the publication/charting process through the standardization of the AIP content in accordance with ICAO standard, and represents a significant enabler for future capability increase.
IDS AirNav has the pleasure to present the nineteenth edition of the Aeronautical Special Interest Group (AeroSIG) to be held at the ENAV Conference & Congress Center in Ciampino – Roma, on 8 and 9 June. The event will have over 260 remotely connected users from 36 different countries.

IDS AirNav has signed a contract with the Brazilian service provider Comissão de Implantação do Sistema de Controle do Espaço Aéreo (CISCEA) for the modernization of the Aeronautical Information Management (AIM) systems. The contract provides for the modernization of systems to validate flight instrumental procedures, to design routes and airspace, to manage aeronautical cartography and publish all the main data for air traffic control, such as NOTAMs (NOtice To AirMen ), necessary to communicate information useful for navigation, aircraft flight plans, cartography, weather data and all the flow of airport data and air navigation obstacles. IDS AirNav will also provide new modules of the AIM system including the application for the distribution of aeronautical publication data and for the pre-flight bulletins management. This new contract, which has a total duration of 24 months, will allow CISCEA to provide its air traffic services thanks to the support of a state-of-the-art technological system in the civil aviation industry
IDS AirNav won the tender launched by the Kosovar air navigation service provider (ASHNA – Agjencia e Shërbimeve të Navigacionit Ajror) for the supply of the Aeronautical Information Management system. The tender provides for the supply and maintenance of systems to validate flight instrumental procedures, to design routes and airspace, to manage aeronautical cartography and effectively publish all static and dynamic data essential for air traffic control, such as NOTAMs (NOtice To AirMen), necessary to communicate information useful for navigation, aircraft flight plans, cartography, weather data, and all the flow of airport data and air navigation obstacles to the aeronautical community. The project has a duration of 12 months and for the first time it sees the use of IDS AirNav innovative technologies in Kosovo. The new AIM system will allow ASHNA to provide its services through a state-of-the-art technological system in the civil aviation industry.
